Hi! I’m Juri.
How do you spend your summer vacation?Do you enjoy? I live a full life:-)
By the way, did you watch the Women's World Cup on TV? "Nadeshiko Japan" won the Women's World Cup by defeating the heavily favored United States in Frankfurt. It was a great feat!! Japan's women's national team became the first Japanese as well as the first Asian team to become the World Cup winner.
I like soccer very much and I'm happy to hear the big news!! I was on a woman soccer club when I was an elementary school student.About 30 members belonged to the club.We played very hard every Saturday and Sunday. My position was the center of the defense. It was one of the important positions. I was a captain in the team when I was in sixth grade.
Our team was very strong!!!
Now, I like to watch better than to play soccer, and my family members too.We often go to watch a soccer game. But our cheering teams are different, so we sometimes quarrel:-(
Recently, my parents and I went to Shizuoka to watch a soccer game.
My mother like "Urawa red-diamonds". It was an exciting game!!
Jubilo Iwata vs Urawa red-diamonds
My favorite player is Endo Yasuhito who is a member of Gamba Osaka. He was chosen to take part in the World Cup in 2010. I want to watch many games in this summer:-)
What sports do you like best?

I watched the game that "Nadeshiko Japan" won.
ReplyDeleteI was very excited!
The captain Ms,Sawa is very cool!
Your team was very amazing.
Do you play soccer now?

Hi, Juri!
ReplyDeleteI didn′t watch world cup.
So, I was surprised at the victory.
By the way, I prefer watching sports to playing them, and I enjoyed ”Innaisen”.
Have a nice summer:-)

Hi, Juri!
ReplyDeleteMy most favorite sports is tennis!
I watched nadeshiko soccer match on TV last week!
I really excited!! :)

Yuri
I didn't watch any of the games, though my husband saw them all. I like men's soccer - women are usually too emotional (crying, screaming, etc.).
ReplyDeleteHowever, this year the women in Wimbledon were really great - east Europeans, who are quite stoic and serious. Great great playing - I enjoyed them more than the men's.
I am waiting for men's World Cup - next year?
